A woman who was acquitted of arson charges last year for a fire that occurred in 2022, has filed suit against the Binghamton Fire Department and several law enforcement agencies that she claims were responsible for her malicious prosecution and fourteen months of incarceration. Connecticut PIO Sues Police for False Arrest and Malicious Prosecution

More Firefighter on Firefighter Litigation in Latrobe, PA

Firefighters Dismissed From Malicious Prosecution Suit

The US District Court for the Eastern District of New York has dismissed two firefighters and a fire department from a lawsuit arising out of the arrest of a man who was accused of brandishing a firearm at one of the firefighters. The Franklin Square and Munson Fire Department, Daniel Maloney, and Robert Fineo were dismissed from a suit filed by Carl T. Semencic.
