PA VFD Treasurer Accused of Stealing $250,000

The former treasurer of a volunteer fire company in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania has been accused of stealing $250,000 from the fire company over a six-year period. Ronald Kenneth Nolan of the Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Company was arrested and charged last week.

Also in the news, another volunteer firefighter, William Joseph Stuart, of the Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department in Fauquier County, Virginia, pled guilty to stealing more than $40,000 from the department.
