In this episode of Fire Law Roundup for September 29, 2025, Brad and Curt discuss a suit against Jacksonville Fire & Rescue alleging disability discrimination for failing to accommodate a firefighter’s ADHD during a promotional process; the release of an Oregon firefighter from ICE detention after he was arrested at the scene of a wildland fire in Washington; a race, sex, and disability discrimination suit brought by a former Indiana firefighter; child porn charges brought against a former Clark County firefighter; and a Michigan ruling that a wrongful termination suit brought by a former fire chief may proceed because the city-adopted fire code requires code enforcement officials to only be removed for just cause.
