Virginia Volunteer Firefighter Charged with Arson

A Virginia firefighter has been charged with burning his own vehicle. Matthew Christopher Bush is accused of felony arson for setting his 2021 Honda Civic on fire on August 12, 2022.

Bush is a member of the Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company, part of Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System. He joined approximately three months ago. He has been suspended from both organizations.
