Chicago Fire Investigates Medic for YCMTSU Lewd Behavior

A Chicago Fire Department paramedic is on paid administrative leave as the department investigates allegations that he masturbated repeatedly at work, apparently in full view of his colleagues.

The Chicago Sun Times is reporting that the unnamed medic was assigned to a Firehouse on the South Side, and that rumors about his outrageous behavior have been swirling about the department for over a year. The paper reports that the lewd behavior took place on apparatus and in various locations in the firehouse.

The Sun Times article tied the allegations to previous sexual misconduct scandals in the Chicago Fire Department, including the termination of a firefighter from Truck 24 earlier this year for having sex with his girlfriend at the station, and an older scandal involving a prostitute who frequented as many as five stations a night for an 11-year period.

Here is more on the story.
