Paterson NJ Fire Settles Apparatus Accident Case For $135k

The City of Paterson has agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by the owner of a vehicle that was struck by a ladder truck in 2013. Tunisha Wise claims she suffered severe and permanent injuries as a result of the August 28, 2013 accident.

According to police reports, Wise’s vehicle was stopped when the rear portion of the ladder truck collided with the front of her vehicle. The $135,000 settlement calls for the city to make payments in three $45,000 installments: the first within 60 days, the second on July 1, 2017, and the last on July 1, 2018.
