Indiana Firefighter Charged with Robbing Bank
An Avon, Indiana firefighter has been arrested and charged with robbing a bank last week in Brazil, Indiana.
Bryan E. Anderson, 39, was arrested shortly after the robbery last Friday evening by Indiana State Police. Anderson was driving a vehicle that matched the description of the getaway car. A 16 year veteran firefighter, he has been placed on administrative leave by the Washington Township / Avon Fire Department.
Police say the robber slipped a teller at the First Financial Bank a note demanding money, and the teller complied. Witnesses provided police with a description of the robber’s vehicle.
I *KNOW* we don’t make enough, but still, BANK ROBBERY? REALLY?!? If you’re that hard up for money, quit the FD and manage a hedge fund, buy the rights to an AIDS drug, then jack the price 1500%.
