A Lifeguard Captain with the Los Angeles County Fire Department has filed suit claiming that the county’s policy requiring him to raise the Progress Pride Flag constitutes religious discrimination, violates the First Amendment’s free speech requirement, and violates California state law. Captain Jeffrey Little filed suit last week in US District Court.
