South Carolina Firefighter Cited for DUI Following Apparatus Rollover

A South Carolina firefighter has been charged with driving under the influence following an apparatus accident last week. John Russel Hendrix Jr. of the Starr Fire Department was operating an engine that went off the road, and rolled over.

Hendrix was transported to the hospital following the accident, and later taken to the county detention center. The apparatus was reportedly totaled.
